Lauren opened her first salon in High Wycombe and to celebrate her 18th salon birthday she opened SHC in Wallingford, her only motto in life is “treat people as you expect to be treated”. Lauren is passionate about first class customer care and is a certified A1 assessor/NVQ qualified trainer. Lauren also holds a distinction in her colour masters. I always say “There’s no such thing as difficult hair, only the wrong approach to dealing with it”. Team Spirit are always on hand to teach their clients how to deal with their hair at home, no matter what personal skill levels.

I’m a hairdresser by trade and have also spent eighteen years in the corporate world (sales and business development). I joined the team in 2007 and have never looked back. I’m so lucky to find a career that makes me happy and yes it’s true I love my job as no two days are the same. We offer a fun as well as a professional environment when you spend time in SHC. I’m not a hairdresser and used to have very fine limp hair BUT thanks to Serena and the world of hair extensions, add in fringes and pieces I have become a yummy mummy. Or so my son Ryan says!

I feel my particular strengths in hairdressing are cutting, permanent blow-dry and perms. I am an assessor, and train the “up and coming” future generations in Spirit. My main passion is colour and how it can change a hairstyle. I achieved 98% in my colour masters and enjoy seeing my clients leave the salon looking and feeling a million dollars. Hair up is another passion and I’m the first one to create an ‘up’ style that works for weddings, prom nights, and parties. I work with a great team and never stop having fun.

Service with a smile. I’m a lively character and love my clients to feel great about themselves. My forte is cutting, (Ladies and Guys) and my hero is Trevor Sorbie. I aspire to be as fantastic and respected as he is in this industry. You will always find me on seminars and courses in London so I can bring back my knowledge and deliver fabulous hair to my clients, I believe “you don’t let your hair wear you- you wear it! And do it well…. I’m very lucky to have a very loyal clientele and each one will always be guaranteed the five star treatment.

I trained in Covent Garden and then joined the Spirit team in July 2010. My mentor in hair dressing is Errol Douglas and my forte is cutting (ladies and guys) and hair up. Styling hair at home is easy with the correct products. Since I started at Spirit my skills have gone from strength to strength, and there is nothing like the amazing buzz I receive when a client loves their finished look. If you are after inspiration then I’m the one for you.
